Hi, I visited the caravan and camping show in Adelaide the other day and saw a list of settings for all over Australia for finding the Optus sattelite. Do you know where to download such a list?
Cheers Glenn

Hi Neil,
What are you wanting to do when you have the decoder attached to the laptop? I am not aware that the decoder supports a connection to a laptop. I think the USB port is for recording onto a USB drive and/or loading firmware updates onto the decoder. Have you found somewhere in the manual that says it supports something else on this port?

Hi Andrew,
This is a familiar story and is almost always the result of customers buying portable satellite gear and not being correctly shown how to set it up. It is far from intuitive. Interestingly the satellite used by Foxtel is the exact same satellite used by Optus for the Aurora system - so if you managed to find the Foxtel satellite, you were correctly pointing at the Optus Aurora satellite! Like many things, spending days trying to figure it out on your own is no substitute for being correctly shown how to find the satellite.
Try following the tutorial on this site - follow it step by step and I think you will have a different opinion on the system that thousands of travelers use every day.

Hi
I have had the satelite system for over six months I seem to be able to find the foxtel satelite but not the optus.I have spent days of time trying to make the system work but I am only able to get ABC with any regularity. What a waste of time and money I would not recomend this system to anyone.
