Other Travellers Rigs

Our full time home is a 9m Truelux 5th wheeler made in Melbourne. It has :
2x 95L freah water tank.
1X 95L grey water tank.
2x 9kg gas bottles.
Thetford cassette toilet with spare cassette.
175L fridge/freezer.
Swift 500 series cooker.
Ibis airconditioner.
Airtronic ducted deisel heater.
Casale washing machine.
Suburban hot water unit.

Our tow vehicle is a Hino 300 single cab tray truck with a custom built tool box and tray.

The tow ball is 75mm, drop down ball hitch

The electrics are :
2x 130w solar panel.
Prostar 30 solar controller.
2x 12v 100ah sealed batteries.
Victron 1600w multiplus inverter/charger.
Led lighting thru out.

Lyn and Michael - Full Time Traveller

I retired from the work force in June 2010. Lyn and I started discussing in 2009 what we would do when I retired . Becoming full time grey nomads appealed to both of us, so the house was sold at the end of 2009 and the 5th wheeler was purchased. Our tow vehicle then was a Ford single cab tray truck. We hit the road in July 2010 as full timers.

In January 2012 we updated the tow vehicle to a Hino 300 single cab truck as we were over the GCM of the Transit.

We head of each year on our travels to where ever it leads us and then return to Melb. to have Xmas with the kids and grandkids plus great grandkids.

The rig name, (Me and Bitch), was Lyn's idea as she always calls me a bitch when I misbehave
